arigatou, ne?

This is a very long overdue picture. n_n For Christmas, on the OPYaoi drabble community, I offered a picture of choice to the winner for the holidaytopic. Mei wrote a really, really wonderful Hanukah fic that featured lovely nakamaship and Sanji/Usopp overtones.

Not exactly my favorite pairing by any means, but I strongly believe in equal-opportunity slash. ::snickers:: Besides, if there's anyone I love drawing chibified, it's Usopp XD

I really let myself go with this pic -- I'm usually extremely obsessive over detail and color blending and whatnot. Here I forced myself to just go with the flow, let myself just ink and color kind of fluidly, following instinct and style only, without allowing myself to second-guess every detail. Sometimes I don't feel like I have any distinctive sort of style, I want to have more fun with what I draw. But I did have a lot of fun with this and I'm pretty happy with it stylisticly. Care-free.
